What is Lite & Sweet?
Lite & Sweet is a blend of Erythritol & Xylitol – natural sweeteners derived from plant sources. Erythritol & Xylitol are similar in taste to regular sugar, but with a significant difference –Erythritol has zero calories and a virtually zero glycemic index while Xylitol has 40% fewer calories than sugar and a glycemic index of seven. Both sweeteners have a natural, cooling and moisturizing effect. The combination of the two sweeteners makes for a great tasting, low calorie, low glycemic sweetener that everyone can enjoy.
Suggested Use
When cooking, replace sugar with Lite & Sweet in equal measurements. Lite & Sweet is heat-stable for cooking and baking. It also mixes and dissolves just like common sugar.*
*Lite & Sweet is a better choice for making hard candies than Xylitol alone.
